09/14/2000 – TDS Press Release TDS Group, a global provider of logistics services to the automotive industry, has given all its subsidiaries and joint ventures a uniform corporate design. This affects five companies in Europe, Asia, North and South America with 19 plants, and the head office in London, Ontario (Canada). The new design was developed by Grow Up Werbeberatung GmbH, Saarbrücken (Germany). TDS has enjoyed an excellent reputation in the automotive industry for decades', stresses Michael Neumann, the Group's executive vice-president. 'We are well-known for our intelligent, customer-oriented logistics solutions and our uncompromising commitment to quality'. The new image aims to communicate the integrated professional expertise of the 19 TDS facilities more clearly - in the company's new target markets too. 'Our former, more differentiated image was no longer appropriate for the high standing and importance of a globally active, leading logistics provider', says Neumann. The transformation started with internal changes and then moved to external presentation. First, the paperwork was updated and the intranet introduced as a global platform for staff communications, then the external presentation was standardised. The launch of the new website, www.tdsinternational.com, rounds off the new image. About TDS TDS Group is a leading global provider of logistics services to the automotive industry. Car manufacturers such as Chrysler, Ford, VW, Audi, Jaguar and Seat as well as well-known component suppliers like Visteon, Johnson Controls, ArvinMeritor and others use TDS services worldwide. TDS Group's head office is in London, Ontario (Canada). The group employs approximately 2000 people. Turnover for the 2000 financial year, which ends on 30 September, is expected to be around US$ 104 million. Turnover consists almost entirely of added value, i.e. without bought-in services or traded goods.
