Jaguar launches production of the new X-Type on February 5th 2001. TDS/E has been contracted as the Logistics Provider by Visteon Automotive (2nd largest automotive component supplier in the world) to sub-assemble, sequence and deliver to the point of fit the whole Instrument Panel (Dashboard), Cooling Module, Centre Console and Driver Side Lower. Visteon is contracted to Jaguar and has full design and process responsibility for the modular assemblies.

TDS/E has been working on this project with Visteon since February last year. In this time, a brand new facility has been designed and constructed on the new supplier park adjacent to the Jaguar Plant, and project planning is in its final stages to complete what is intended to be a successful launch.
