Chrysler awards export consolidation business to
minority-owned automotive logistics company.

Chrysler has selected TDS/US to provide their export consolidation to Graz, Austria commencing in the fourth quarter of 2001. This contract will be serviced by the TDS/US Brownstown, Michigan facility. Brownstown will also continue to provide international export packing and packaging engineering services to Chrysler.

The export packing business constitutes the first contract for TDS/US since being purchased by a minority investment group headed by Willie Lanier.

“We are very pleased to announce our first piece of business as the newly formed minority company TDS/US,” said Mark Wright, TDS/US President & C.E.O. “Our success on this bid is due both to our history of excellent service delivery to Chrysler and our ability to provide more customized and flexible, value-added solutions than our competitors.”
