TDS/E is pleased to announce that their Brussels facility has successfully passed the VDA 6.1 certification audit in September 2001.

This VDA 6.1 certification for TDS/E in Europe is the first for TDS globally and is therefore of unquestionable strategic importance. The VDA 6.1 requirements go significantly further than previously implemented Quality System standards. This certification process happened simultaneously with other programs and side projects and demonstrates the ability of TDS/E to adapt to a fast moving environment.

This achievement does not represent the end of TDS efforts, but rather a stepping stone towards establishing higher standards. In addition, the knowledge and experience resulting from this certification will be shared internationally with other TDS plants.
