Ford Motor Company selects TDS/US to provide warehousing and distribution of Nissan and Mazda service parts for USA.

Ford Motor Company has chosen TDS/US, the minority subsidiary of TDS automotive, to provide warehousing and distribution of domestic service parts in support of their association with Nissan and Mazda.

Scheduled to begin by April 2002, this contract will be performed by the TDS/US facility located in Riverview, MI. The TDS/US Riverview operation is ISO9000, 14000 and Q1 certified and currently provides several logistics programs for Ford Motor Company.

By combining this business with an existing Ford export service parts program, both Ford and TDS/US will realize cost synergies and benefits. TDS/US Riverview has provided un-interrupted international P&A and packaging engineering services to Ford since 1990; and also has responsibility for the ford engine export program to Mazda, Japan (approx. 2000 units per week).
