TDS automotive has been selected to provide additional logistics services to the VW Brussels manufacturing location.

This six year contract with VW Wolfsburg to handle rear axles and corner modules will support production of the new model Golf and Lupo. TDS automotive will be responsible for receiving, inventory management, sub-assembly, axle drive-parameter adjustment, sequencing, and line-side delivery. This program slated to launch in August, 2003, will include TDS responsibility for the transportation of sequence materials.

Under a separate contract with Tier One supplier Tenneco, TDS will also be providing similar services to handle exhaust systems for the production of the Golf and Lupo models.

TDS automotive has been in operation in Brussels since 1999 supporting various sub-assembly and sequencing programs for VW.
