TDS automotive has been selected to provide sequencing services to General Motors Oshawa, Assembly Plant #2.

Under the terms of this 3 year contract, effective immediately TDS will assume responsibility for sequencing fascias from its Boundary Road facility in Oshawa. The fascias will be sequenced onto a conveyor system that automatically loads specialized trailers for shipment to the customer. Once at the assembly plant, the trailer is automatically unloaded and the fascias are delivered to point-of-fit.

This 2-shift operation supporting production of the Buick Regal, Buick Century, and Pontiac Grand Prix is expected to handle components for approximately 250,000 vehicles annually.
